How do I measure my body fat?
Body fat is optional. A body composition scale at home, or a scan at a gym or clinic, gives you a number to enter. Without it, we use your height and weight.
Home scales vary, so use the same scale each time and weigh in at the same time of day. See the scales on our Get your numbers page, and read body fat versus BMI.
